King sized four poster beds made from sustainable hardwoods, super-comfy sofas and chairs, bespoke hardwood wardrobes and tables, sumptuous fabrics and really big bathrooms.

Building the new bedroom wing of Woodland House Hotel meant that we had a blank canvas on which we could create a hotel bedroom experience that provided superior levels of comfort for our guests whilst complementing the period style of the hotel.

The bedroom wing is secure meaning that only staff and guests who are staying with us are able to access the wing. You enter your bedroom through a recessed door beneath an archway off a wide hall, which gives each room a real sense of privacy while minimising noise.

The en-suite bathrooms are all beautifully appointed and very spacious. Heating is controlled entirely by you – so whether you’re a hot person or a cold person you can decide how warm you’d like your room to be. Comfort and attention to detail has been the focus of our bedroom designs, for example we handpicked the fabric for our curtains from a Bute Fabrics, established by the fifth Marquess of Bute to provide employment for servicemen returning from WWII. Made from 100% wool these beautiful curtains help to reduce noise and they make the bedrooms wonderfully cosy.
